Silhouetting is an art that primarily uses outline in order to draws one’s attention to the main subject. Enjoying close proximity to clipping path, Photoshop Masking, digital image editing etc, silhouetting is proving to be a boon for diverse verticals. A silhouette is a view of an object or scene that includes outline to define an image or scene along with a featureless interior. This featureless interior is usually presented in black. Silhouetting owes its origins to 18th century where portraits along with various other pictorial representations were supported by this form of art. Silhouetting has been described to extend the image of a person, object or scene supported with backlit area.

Silhouetting And The Mudflap Girl

The Mudflap Girl must have been you phantasm once. When I was a kid, I found out something untiringly appealing about the mysterious Mud Flap Girl. In fact, at that time she was a mystery, you see. All I could see was my girl on mud flaps or in front of big trucks and used to wonder where she hails from. Curiosity is satisfied one day. So did mine.
